Medina Photo Shoot

Our time in Rabat is less than a month. We wanted to have a few shots of Norah in the Rabat Medina. It was early so it wasn't busy but perfect for taking photos. As you will see from the photos Norah discovered yesterday that her thumbs are great for sucking and chewing.

Norah's 6th Month

Norah is getting bigger and bigger. She is sleeping very well still. We have introduced new solid food. The Moroccan doctor suggested completely new things that we would never have thought of such as a moroccan soup and fruit panache. We're starting simple- avocado, pear, banana, green beans, rice cereal one at a time and building from there.

Just one month left in Morocco!

This is so sad! We are busy trying to get things in order for our move back to Denver. We have bought our plane tickets to Denver and we are selling most of our stuff here. We will try to fly back with the stuff we keep in our suitcases (we'll see how that works).

The weather is getting warmer and the days are getting longer. It is going to be hard leavinga all this behind.

New Job!

Marc interviewed and accepted a position at Denver Center for International Studies at Montbello. It is a new school and he will be teaching 9th grade math. Stephanie is looking for a student teaching position in the Denver area. Next year is starting to pan out!

Karis' Visit

Karis (BaBa as she is known to her grandchildren) came to visit for two weeks. It was wonderful having her visit again. Norha loved playing with her and Stephanie loved having her mom around! Great opportunities for grandmother granddaughter bonding! We helped with a school beach clean up, Kari babysat while Stephanie Marc went on a date (to the high school prom), we went to the Rabat medina and we took a day trip to Kenitra for a fish fry. Kari and Stephanie visited a hamam (Turkish bath) twice and loved it.
