One more year in Morocco!

We have been spending long days discussing what we will be doing next year. RAS had a deadline of Jan 15 to decide if we were going to stay at RAS next year. We had looked at another job in the US but the organization wasn't able to commit by that date. It was a tough two weeks with several interviews, lots of emails and lots of soul searching. We had to also consider if we were willing to lose this job in Rabat and start job searching from overseas. We decided that one more year might be fun. We'll visit the US more often! Stephanie will be able to still take online classes. Plus teaching for a 3rd year will be a lot easier than teaching at a new place. We are learning more about readjusting to the US and we will probably have to hire a US based consultant to help us find a job. Networking is much harder than we thought it would be! Anyway the good news is that we will be staying another year here in Rabat. More adventures to come!
