So long France Hello Italy!

We dropped off Myron and Karis at the Nice Airport. I've always wanted to say that Nice is nice, and it is. We had a great trip with them full of great adventures.

We then drove off to Italy. Our first culture shock was when we decided to take the scenic route near San Remo. We were a little low with gas so we were a little surprised that three gas stations in a row were closed. We went to nearby Tourist office and asked why. There is a gasoline strike throughout Italy for the next two days. Good to know! We drove back to France and near the border, filled up with gas so that we could get to Florence.

We are staying in a very nice farm house about 18 km from Florence City. It is pretty rural about three km away from any town and our car made it climbing the one lane road up and down the hillsides. It is absolutely gorgeous - we are very happy to be able to stay in the country side for 10 days!
