Field trip to Ifrane

I went on my first overnight field trip with RAS 9th grade students to Ifrane. Ifrane has been described as like a town from Switzerland. It is a little surreal to see this town in Morocco. I went with 4 other teachers. It was a retreat for the students to reflect on their high school future and to give them some bonding experiences. We took them on a tour of UAI (University of Al-Akhawayn of Ifrane) an english speaking University. We also took them on trip just a few kilometers outside of Ifrane to a small Berber village. The women were making rugs with the help of an American Womens group. The kids seemed to have had a good time.
