For the past two days we've been getting things ready for the big trip. Most importantly, changing the oil, washing the car and getting hair cuts. We finally finished at 1:30 in the morning and got a few hours of sleep. Stephanie drove up to Tangier and drove the car onto the ferry. It didn't work as smoothly as we had hoped. We bought tickets online but when we stopped by to pick up the tickets, the company said that the internet was down. We didn't want to miss the boat. We drove off the ferry and driving got so much easier! We drove to Nerja, Spain which took about 2.5 hours. Our first sticker shock was the toll roads ($9 for 15 km of traveling?). Nerja is a very pleasant town with very nice small beaches. We hung out with lots of British and Spanish tourists.
