9th Grade Trip

At the beginning of October, Marc went with 24 ninth graders to Terre d'Amanar and three other teachers for two nights. Terre D'Amanar was a great place to take students. It is about 45 minutes drive from Marrakesh - we took the train to Marrakesh and then a bus. They had zip lines, ropes courses, mountain bike riding, hiking, Berber games, archery and much more. We slept in Berber tents and had a bon fire every night. The food was great and the whole place was very well run. The kids had a great time and were well behaved. Unfortunately one reason was that three students were caught with drugs/alcohol right before we left. The incident had the whole campus talking about the subject for a few weeks. It reminds me of 4 years ago on a school trip to England/France.
