Well, as with anything complicated, not everything goes as planned. We finished a very long loop of plane connections over a two month period. Marc's round trip consisted of 15 plane trips. We arrived at Knoxville Airport, said good by to everyone and looked at the plane. There was lightning in Atlanta so we couldn't leave Knoxville. They delayed the flight 4 hours which meant that we would miss our connection in Paris. We elected to leave the next day. Myron and Kari picked us up at the airport (where they had just dropped us off earlier) and we stayed another day in the US.
The next day we left Knoxville (finally!) for Atlanta and had to quickly hop onto the plane to Paris. We arrived in Paris without boarding passes for Rabat because Delta's computers wouldn't talk to Air France's computers. In Paris we learned that Stephanie's seat on the flight had been cancelled. We had to leave the airport, go to the ticketing counter and pick up new boarding passes. Luckily we had a 6 hours layover so it turned out to not be a problem but it meant that if we hadn't gotten delayed in Knoxville the day before we would have missed our flight to Rabat anyway. We arrived in Rabat and found our new home in great shape. Our housekeeper had cooked us a wonderful meal and have even unpacked all of our boxes! We love Naima!
