Marc's Parents, Priscilla and Dick came to visit from December 18 to Jan 6. We've had lots of adventures and that will have to be covered in several entries.
School ended on December 18 and Stephanie went to the airport (while Marc was still teaching) and picked up Priscilla and Dick in Rabat. (Only her 5th or 6th time driving in Morocco... yikes!) We introduced them to Rabat by going to the Rabat Medina and seeing the Chellah. Dick started feeling poorly and it turned out to be a nasty Bronchitis cough - we meet the pharmasist and treated it with some good antibiotics! After a few days he was rare'n to go travel around Morocco.
We first visited Tanger and stayed at La Tangerina which we highly recommend. Right on the Mediteranian and you could see Spain from the roof. On the way up we stopped at Asilah which is a great little fishing town and seems like a very relaxing place to visit. We'll have to go back some time. Tanger traffic was a little busy but Stephanie and I (great team work) figured out how to get to the Kasbah right before dark. It turned out that in all travels over the next few weeks we seemed to arrive right as the sun whet down and barely found our Riads (where we were staying).
